Set of 24 sheets with 120 photographs in different formats, from Madeira Island, modernly assembled in an album, with the following indications on the spine: Joseph Chamberlain — Album of Madeira Photographs. They represent views and family scenes taken during Joseph Chamberlain's visit to Madeira in 1903. Chamberlain (1836-1914), one of the most influential British politicians of the 19th century, was the father of Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain (1937-1940).
