Angola 1919 War Tax. Letter from Benguella, July 1921 to Eutin (in Holstein, Germany), postage paid by War Tax stamps, vertical strip of 4 dark green Mf#2 stamps with red War Tax on the reverse and a green Mf#1 stamp with black War Tax on the front, obliterated with hexagonal postmark of BENGUELLA. Handwritten note "with the steamer WINFRIED". Very good.
Angola. Angola war tax stamps, received in Angola in June 1919, used within 6 months after the end of the War. They were later used as franking stamps. Letter sent from Benguela in July 1921, franking 26 centavos.
