Pre-philately. Letter sent from Lisbon on 5.3.1803, to Madeira, where it arrived on 15.3. It was marked with Lisbon LSB-1 a (R5), and applied postage of 60 reis, for a letter to the Islands weighing between 4 and 6 /8 of an ounce. This is the 2nd copy of a letter, sent by the ”Queen of Angels”. Ex- J. Sussex.
