1914 – D. Carlos I Mouchon. Stamps from 1898/1901 with “REPUBLICA” overprinted locally in red. MF117, 100 réis, blue on blue, light dotted paper, 11 ¾ notch. Complete sheet with 28 stamps, new, ungummed, without defects or repairs, in good colour, with “CA” for “REPUBLICA” raised in position 16 and “A” raised in position 20. These varieties appear on all sheets of all values of the Angolan and Congolese issues with the local “REPUBLICA” overprint. Varieties not catalogued.
