Province : Indo Persian /Mughal. Made : Hand forged steel , hand hammered and hand chiseled. Indo Persian convex form circular warrior shield Arabic inscription. The shield bears an elaborate chiseled engraving of medallions over its entire surface with floral & creeper design. The center panel and bottom rim chiseled with medallions comprising of Arabic inscription. The shield is large in size , 19 inches in diameter. The reserve of shield has thick cloth cushion and 2 cotton belts to hold. Four domed bosses with beautiful cut design in uncommon shape. This makes this shield adding dramatic detailing to this incredible piece of armor. History collection does not offer any certificate of age and authenticity certificate.
