The all rim round decorated with chiseled armaments of foliage and scroll work floral and tendril. The reverse of shield cloth cushion and two handles to hold. Measurement: 19 inches in diameter. Well documented in Sikh armor web sites.Four domed bosses chiseled with flower motifs connecting hooks at back. The shield is larger than usual shield , it measures 19 inches in diameter with taper shape. The inside of the shield bears cloth cushion with 2 handles to hold. This makes this shield adding dramatic detailing to this incredible piece of armor. This would be fine addition to your collection, perefect present or wall hanging. Condition: Good age related wear
