A RARE GEM OF A COLLECTION AND HARD TO FIND OTTOMAN /TURKISH EMPIRE WARRIOR KHULA KHUD HELMET.ARABIC CALLIGRAPHY ENGRAVED ON THE NECK, VISOR & EAR GUARDS. TURKISH WARRIOR USE TO PUT TURBAN THUS THIS HELMET IS LARGER THAN UNUSUAL HELMETS.
Province: Ottoman Empire. style . Made of hand-forged steel, hand hammered and hand chiseled and engraved. Arabic Calligraphy hand engraved at Neck guard, Visor & at entire skull surface. The nasal guard is sliding and adjustable and has God Allah name engraved, the chain mail affixed to safe guard neck. Helmet. surface: The surface bears an elaborate chiseled engraving over its entire surface with floral and creeper design and engraved medallions. Inside of helmet has heavy cushion with c fabric. Well documented in war catalog. It would be fine addition to your collection or perfect display.
