1939 (11 Aug) Imperial Airways London - Zurich Official Cover. Pilot Capt. Scott made a forced landing near Luxeuil. The plane caught fire, all the passengers and the crew escaped. This was the last Imperial Airways Crash, part of the mail was Salvaged and forwarded, damaged mail was forwarded in a special Official Cover (called Ambulance Cover)
