Bicker & Sons, London, 1878. This beautifully illustrated book depicts and describes life in central India in the mid-to-late 1800s. Rousselet's album of photographs, which he took while traveling through India, sold for over $100,000 at Christie, photographs which were no doubt used for the many full-page engraved plates which adore this book.
