This film was produced and directed by Dev Anand himself. Dev Anand and Zeenat Aman as lead characters of the film which made lot of headlines and some of the reasons are their real life relationship and Zeenat Amans bold character in this film. This film was realised just after the great success of Hare Krishna Hare Ram and in which this pair was acted as brother and sister. The USP of the film was the hit tracks including Heera ki tammna hai ki Panna use mil jaye.
