Guru Govind Singh and Sikh Emblem
The work shows Guru Gobind Singh as warrior with halo and a royal elephant. An empty throne with Sikh emblem on the back of the Elephant convey a message that he was the tenth and last Guru of this Sikh religion. Interestingly it was Guru Govind Singh who added the emblems in the Sikh practice. The first Sikh emblem was the three weapons, the Kattar (Dagger), Dhal (Shield), and Kirpan (Sabre).
