José I, dated from the Palácio de Nossa Senhora da Ajuda, on 06.Jun.1760, addressed to the Archbishop, Bishop of the Algarve, and closed with a full royal seal at the end of the letter. The King informs the Archbishop of the marriage of his daughter D. Maria with the infant D. Pedro (King's brother), and asks that with his prayers and those of his diocesans, he bless such a happy consortium.
