India 1852 (May 21) LAHOR P.O (now in Pakistan) Giles 7, which was the military handover point to civilian P.O., on folded letter from Gujranwala to Simla from the Clarke correspondence written by John Clarke to his wife, with " from Goojranwala, 21 May" in manuscript, probably due to a missing handstamp, thus scarce. See similar lot 22 where the handstamp was applied.
